The Shield of Abraham
The word "Magen" is Hebrew for "Shield." Our ministry is inspired by Genesis 15:1 — God's promise to Abraham.
Magen Covenant Ministry was founded by Pastor Goodluck Ochiagha following years of dedicated ministry leadership and faithful service. The ministry exists to help believers cultivate a consistent walk with God through prayer, Torah teachings, covenant living, wisdom, and community.
In April 2025, after a period of intense prayer and spiritual reflection, he answered a divine mandate to establish a daily online prayer platform. Today, the ministry has blossomed into a global home where believers gather to study the Torah, grow spiritually, and live productive lives.
"Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."
— Genesis 15:1Covenant Covenant
We believe that in a world filled with moral confusion, economic uncertainty, and spiritual displacement, people need a shield — not found in human strength, but in a daily, obedient walk with God.

What We Hold True
God Is One
We worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We worship Him alone, in accordance with the Shema.
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one."
— Deuteronomy 6:4Daily Altars
Prayer is not only for emergencies. Prayer is a daily relationship with God. We believe every family should have a daily altar of prayer.
"And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart..."
— Deuteronomy 6:6-7Torah Instruction
We teach Torah because it provides the foundation for understanding God's purpose, His commandments, His covenant, and His plan for humanity.
Sabbath Rest
The Sabbath was established by God at Creation. It is a gift that provides worship, rest, reflection, family unity, and spiritual renewal.
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy."
— Exodus 20:8
